Tuberoses are fragrant members of the Agavaceae family. Their botanical name comes from the Greek words polis, which means "shining" or "white," and anthos, which means "flower." The single- or double-flowered blooms feature clustered spikes of waxy, white tubular flowers. The herbaceous perennials are native to Mexico.
